Dr. Raja Ram Tripathi – A personality that would not be exaggerated to be called the Green Warrior of India. Actually, Dr. Tripathi has broken the rut created by Indian agriculture and has defined the scientific element underlying farming. He has conserved about 250 plant species out of 400 (usually extinct) species included in the Red Data Book by the United Nations and has contributed significantly towards environmental protection by planting 3.4 lakh trees. Not only they have done important work to conserve the extinct herbs globally and nationally, but they have also developed an herbal forest in the form of the Ethnico Medico Park, where these extinct species are being conserved. Dr. Tripathi believes that environmental protection is possible only when we allow nature to flourish and grow naturally. The finest example of how farming is done naturally in his farm can be seen. He has developed a new tradition of organic farming not only in scientific way but also has guided more than 70 thousand farmers of the country towards organic farming. The biggest problem of farmers is the lack of proper market for the products they produce, Dr. Tripathi has done a wonderful job in this direction and has developed a group of farmers who are connected online, this organization is called Central Herbal Agro Marketing Federation (CHAMF). More than 80 thousand organic farmers are associated in this organization, who collaborate with each other in marketing. Through this, farmers are getting fair price for their crops along with the market.
Dr. Tripathi has set a new example of innovative experimentation in farming. It is generally believed that termites are harmful to trees or wood, but many fields of termites will be seen in their fields. They provide nutrition to trees. The subjects of his writing are mainly agricultural and social issues. He has written two books. He is also playing a role in the editing of tribal affairs magazine Kaksad as a editor. Maa Danteshwari Herbal, under the leadership of Dr. Tripathi, was recognized in the year 2000 as the country’s first organic (organic) certified organic product producer 19 years ago. Recently, the largest agricultural sector organization of the Government of India, CSIR has entered into two agreements for the cultivation of stevia and to set up a factory for making sugar of bitter less stevia. They are doing a great job of preserving the extinct connected-knots. In view of his contribution, he has been awarded many international level awards including Green Warrior. In Kondagaon district of Chhattisgarh, he has innovated thenotable at national and international levelHigh Value Multi-LayeredFarming(HVML) and new concept of the vertical farming by certified organic farming mode. At the same time, 25 of the 32 extinct herbs are included in the Red Data Book by the United Nations, here conserved. Apart from this, around 150 rare species of herbs are also being conserved and promoted. Through this whole process, more than 700 local tribal families have got employment opportunities and their economic socio-economic status has changed. To understand these innovative experiments, farmers and agricultural researchers from across the country visit the Maa Danteshwari Herbal Farm. According to his visitor’s register 1.4 million visitors has visited his farm. Thousands of farmers in different parts of the country are following this model.

FARMING
Under the supervision of Tripathi, 34 acres of land in Kondagaon is being cultivated extensively by certified organic method, along with this black pepper and bitterness stevia is cultivated on large scale. In order to extend this model, sustainable organic farming is being done on 1100 acres of land in Bastar region with several farmer groups. Biodiversity is clearly reflected in Maa Danteshwari Herbal Farm and is a special farm of its kind in the country. In the villages of Bastar region, Salna, Palna, Marangpuri, Randhana, Makdi, Chikalputi, Sambalpur, Chapka, Poleng, and Karanji villages, organic farming and vegetable cultivation is being done on 700 acres with help of farmers groups Dr. Tripathi has been involved in farming since 1996 and in these 33 years he has presented an exemplary model of farming.
Maa Danteshwari Herbal Farm is the only farm where biodiversity creates an attractive view and presents an example of profitable farming. In the farm, 3.4 lakh trees and more than 240 kinds of Medicinal herbs, spices, Aromatic Farming and other high value crops, Germ plaza are cultivated through the crop cycle. Crop pests in the farm are managed with biological technology, due to which crop-based pests are highly inhabited. He has promote the Organic Cultivation of Indian Medicinal and Aromatic Crops and Establishment of Ethno Medico Forest.
For the last 20 years, farmers of various regions of the country are getting free training on organic farming, cultivation of medicinal plants, making of organic manure, organic pesticides, and fungicides. So far, more than 70 thousand farmers have been trained.

LEADERSHIP
Tripathi is the leader of the progressive farmers of the country. He has guided thousands of farmers towards profitable organic farming and has played an important role in improving the standard of living of the people. Tripathi is an inspirational personality for MBA, IIT and other professionally educated youth, who are getting oriented towards farming. Tripathi is the first farmer in the country who represented India in Japan as a certified organic farmer in 2005.Formed the All India Farmers Alliance (AIFA) by merging 42 non-political farmer organizations and leading it as national coordinator.
He should never be involved in any dispute or illegal activities. He is highly respected in the society and has no relation with any political party, he has never been a member of any political party nor participated in any electoral process. People of all political parties also consider them fair and give respect.
Tripathi was born in a middle class farmer family of Bastar region. He spent his childhood in tribal dominated area and his life is also like a tribal. The tribals of the area consider him their icon and respect him. In fact, through an NGO called Sampada, Dr. Tripathi along with his team works continuously for the change in the socio-economic status of tribal families and his efforts establish him as a leader.
Tripathi has established an organization called Central Herbal Agro Marketing Federation of India (CHAMF), which has more than 70 thousand members. These farmers have access to the market for the crops they produce. This organization takes its action online.
